The Cadets and GH history of sexual abuse (news article)

We all agree.  I love when that happens.  Seriously though, it’s sad that a simple innocuous show of affection can be misconstrued.  It kind of muddies the waters between real sexual harassment and just a hug.  The litigious world we live in.

Another training session up upstate NY from the district lawyer also said that touching a student could also be construed as corporal punishment, even a hug. And that... you as the teacher will lose the case, so don't touch the kids at all. A few teachers were upset, including one of the NEA Union stewards. You're right though, it's been a litigious world for decades now.

I doubt they knew specifics

If they had a non-specific but more generalized sense of episodic or systematic violations, should the board still have an interest in examining the situation for the safety of the Cadets?

This has been answered several times now. Does it need to be repeated slowly

Jim, it loves to watch itself talk.  Especially using those Readers Digest vocabulary test words.  So we all feel dumber than it.

 Only during waking hours, imo.

Right. Which brings us to the question of board inaction.

Which apparently obtained for decades, until they read about it in the paper

What have you done for DC in the last few decades? Made a donation, volunteered, bought a ticket, sponsored a member or just sit on a rock with your longie in front of the stadium in Scranton.
