YEA corps on probation by DCI

Recommended Posts

Those guidelines to improve safety need to go to all corps. Picturing all the attention focused on Cadets and crap hits the fan elsewhere. Hades someone might be think they might not be caught because “DCI is only worried about YEA”

Excellent move, though they really had no other choice. I assume the standards and policies developed here will be rolled out to the other corps in some fashion as well.

Is this the highest-level organization placed on probation by DCI or was there anything similar a few decades back?

I believe all the Corps have gotten the message loud and clear. The number of Corps reviewing their current policies and procedures, shoring up their current policies and procedures, forming committees to initiate new and stronger measures,  creation of compliance officers, anonymous hot lines, 3rd part oversight, etc probably runs into the multiples in numbers. One look at Corps websites, shows lot of Corps reviewing what they are currently discussing/ implementing re. new mechanisms on how they can improve these communication channels on this within their Corps..
