In both cases, they have been convicted of a crime. Polanski should have been kicked iut decades ago. Cosby was not kicked out until the trial verdict.

True but Weinstein was removed last October.  He surrendered to the NYPD yesterday and bonded out.

IIRC when the Pro Football HoF made some statements regarding this they said something like this.... He was inducted for his merits as a football player many years before all of the falafel hit the fan, and the way their charter read, the fact someone is a total jerk off the field doesn't necessarily preclude consideration, and... he was found not guilty of the double murder charges.

One may not like it, but at least the people in Canton spoke their minds and gave their reasons. I think it's also been stated here that it wouldn't be really prudent to wing this for DCI and set some kind of precedent that later on they may have to recant or fix. I'm also wondering if more bombs will drop on other members in the future.

I don't think DCI will be sending him the 2018 All Access pass.

Who knows what address to use?

True.  But the NFL isn’t a “youth activity” either.

Well, there is that, yet, they cast themselves as good examples to youth and sponsor youth activities they developed.

Looking at the "Criticism" area of the Wikipedia article on it, it doesn't mention the criticism they got over Simpson. Obviously, it went down the memory hole and no one has really appeared to care.

In the eyes of the public, such as people reading the Inquirer, it is inaction. So, we'll just agree to disagree on this one. How was it possible for Crossmen to act to remove GH from their HOF but not DCI?

Compared to DCI, the management style of the Crossmen organization is... (how do I say this kindly)... much more streamlined.  Fewer people are involved, so they can meet, agree, and act more swiftly.

We have seen that with the HOF - but also with the Joel Moody situation.

Careful what you wish for.
