A Hall of Fame is supposed to bring honor and credibility to an organization and anything that would hurt that reputation has to be taken seriously. Granted, with the two organizations I've been involved with, there was never a reason to remove anyone. However, being a member of a Hall of Fame is a privilege and honor, not a right. My thought is that it was run by legal counsel who recommended waiting. as much as i think everyone wants him gone, the key is you need a procedure in place or you end up making up new rules on the fly anytime an issue happens. More CYA! More razzel dazzle. I’m of the opinion - what do you think you’re going to know in September that you don’t already know now? It’s a lot easier to say the HOF committee will decide than to step up take ownership as ED and act responsibly. State: As ED I’ve made the decision to ban GH from all DCI events until the HOF committee meets in September and makes final determination on his status. Until taken away - GH is entitled to the same perks as any other HOF member. If he did attend it wouldn’t surprise me if there is more hand shaking and back slapping than one might believe.
