Pioneer on the field. 12 trumpets, 9 mellows, 11 baris and 6 tubas (1 no Horn) by my count. Not quite the number they were shooting for but a nice start for them

Close the holes, now, and run with it. In regards to percussion; Pioneer has never had an issue fielding a full drumline.

I think he’s being pretty clear. He’s saying that Mandarins a big step above the Academy and that the Scouts are at about the same level as the Academy. I agree with him, I don’t think Scouts make finals this year

I haven't seen the Scouts or the Colts. I felt Academy was a big step above Mandarins. So the Scouts/Colts are either at Mandarins level or the Academy's level. I 'm thinking Academy. Mandarins definitely have the goods.

Just because you are not paranoid does not mean they are not out to get you...

i was there live...not sure that delay was electronic. After the delay, a BAC staffer came crawling out from underneath that big round prop with a quad rack...and about 10 seconds later the show started.

Thanks for noting that.

(At the cinema, as we waited for Boston to start, the camera was focused on the area near the side 2 endzone. I only guessed that the issue was electronics because the long pause was followed by what sounded like a couple test notes from keyboards.)

So it had nothing to do with the tech sliding under the fire prop before the start?  He was under there for a while.

Yes, per Popcorn's post, it apparently was about the prop and not about the electronics (i.e., I guessed wrong).
