Terri Schehr
Well, everyone came to play. As always. This show brings out the best in everyone. Congratulations to all for such great inspired performances!

I haven't heard that much intonation issues from a BD hornline in a long time. Extremely off-puting. Shocking, really. Everyone had it tonight.

This year, it's "well there's the hair bits from As Dreams are Made On., there's a shoulder move from Ink, there's a kick from Felliniesque". It seems like they're approaching the time to reinvent the activity again with a new vocabulary of elements. I have no doubt they can. The question is, will they if this vocabulary keeps winning? I dare say it’s become a bit boring to watch BD because of their recycled show designs.

Who else is doing that this year? Not sure who all, but it’s too many!
BlueStainGlass
Drumline battle is a waste of time when you put corps against corps. It's literally lot warmup and feature. Bring the people that actually design for the battle on the stage

GeorgeD
BD does even less marching while they play than last year. Could say the same for SCV. Move from one set piece to another. I feel like I’m seeing two different events. Corps that march and play and those that do set pieces. Not the same activity to my amateur eye and ear. But I don’t pretend to have expertise here.
