My opinion, which happens to mirror the judges, is I 100% do not think Crown is on the same level as BD this year (musically possibly-maybe), but from a GE and Visual perspective - no way. It's not even close. I also think BD has a better show than Bloo, but not by much. Until last year, I hated BD, so I would love to see them 4th, but that's not going to happen. They are just too good, and are getting the marks they deserve. Crown's brass and percussion are what's keeping them above Cavies and BAC. I think they just had an off night. And I love Bluecoats too, that ballad! I disagree. Devils show feels uneven. There are too many abrupt changes in both music and style. These scores are all over the place. 2 different judges same caption and there is no consistency between them. Obviously they don't understand how to use the sheets. I understand there is subjectivity, but come on. This is rediculous. Maybe we truly need complete random order. Make them actually work. Score off the sheets, not off nearby competition. When a judge finishes judging one corps, they should completely forget about what they saw or heard, and the scores they gave, before judging the next corps.
