Make it a one day regional. Not just because of the rain but split days is stupid to seed with.

It’s not really a regional championship though. Just a convenient place to stop on way to Indy!

When was the last time DCI East got totally rained out?  I've been going since 1990, and I don't remember it happening.  In that respect, the odds are WITH us!

I like the way you think.

Got my rain poncho, a zip lock bag for my phone, dry clothes in the car, and, oh yeah, my tickets.

And, BTW, Accuweather says from 43% to 51% chance of rain, with the highest likelihood around 6:00 and after 10:00. Would love to see those #s drop throughout the day  .

Not every corps performing in Allentown tonight is staying in the area tomorrow. Sure, those that are staying could be allowed to perform early, but those that aren't doing so (such as the Blue Stars, who head to Buffalo after tonight) are screwed.

At least the field is synthetic turf, with a very good drainage system.

The souvie area is another story.

That just becomes one big mud puddle.

Just an attempt at Allentown history humor...

I know I was there. I also judged a monsoon there in November 2008

Except in terms of importance it IS treated as a regional, as it is used in part to determine prelims seeding and all World Class corps appear on one of the nights. The split I believe is purely logistical due to limitations of the facility/area.
