Weather be ######, they've held World Championships outdoors for many years and most years had little or no weather problems. Same for Open Class Championships nowadays. Maybe the new roof (2020 I believe) will fix alot of the problems. Silverdome was a bubble and Ford Field (not the greatest) is better than that. Id take a for sure thing with everyone over a not for sure thing spread out. I marched that last outdoor DCI finals and can say it was great but the dome felt so much nicer. A-Town might have curfew laws. Another six corps would add about 90 minutes. But the corps at A-Town tonight have housing schedules to honor and other cities/towns to head too.
