kevingamin
I keep thinking of the Van Gogh Doctor Who episode, which features one of the most tear jerking moments on TV you'll ever witness, followed by the saddest conclusion.
kevingamin
The return of Clair de Lune i the pit. Corps on the field does some body movement before heading backfield to set up for their part in this piece. Horns play backfield while the guard on flags are all up front getting featured.
kevingamin
Horns now turned front and coming forward. Nice climax to the piece as the guard displays one of Van Gogh's creations on the stage.
kevingamin
Drum line now gets their chance to shine midfield. Horns come back in after the feature. Guard on Starry Night flags as the corps plays Don McClean's Vincent (it had to be in the show, right?)
kevingamin
Fast paced ending! Once again, the corps hauls hard as they finish the show!
kevingamin
Very high demand for Jubal this season. Definitely difference between them and Tradition as a result. Both entertaining and performed well, but Jubal just had more happening on the field.

kevingamin
Next on the field is the Seattle Cascades from Seattle, Washington. Their 2018 program is entitled "What Goes Around" and consists of: Wound Up Spin Moves Infinite Echoes Unraveled Ave Maria What Goes Around... Comes Around Around the World
kevingamin
Show opens with horn soloists on spinning platforms spread across the field. The platforms all have mics so the soloists can keep playing without issues being heard. Drum line has a brief feature, very flashy, before the horns come in full force. Pit sounds are a little overbalanced compared to the horns.
kevingamin
Horns and percussion do not have head gear. I can't remember if that's been the case all season.
