Plus you have your own individual seat.  This is important lest you be the person in the row balancing on one butt cheek for hours.

I hear ya, Terri... at our age, individual seats, with backs, are a top priority.  LOL.

I thought 'balancing on one butt cheek' was a drill move nowadays

I went to Annapolis in 2016, loved the venue, though parking was definitely annoying. Had to park in the neighborhoods around the area.

But when the weather is nice, it’s such a beautiful place for drum corps. Acoustics are pretty great too

I’m sitting on the 50, ten rows up, and the acoustics absolutely ROCK!!!  And there are plenty of seats remaining, all around me.

And padding.  Lots of padding.  Unless you bring your own, like me. :-)

Looking forward to my padded seat and cup holder a week from Thursday.  Now, if I can get through that day without a toddler making poopypants twice during prelims, that would be great.

Does that mean it's not a huge crowd?

It's not bad. The front 10 rows are a bit sparse, but the rest is pretty full from 20 to 20
