Shoremen Brass Classic -- Avon Lake, OH -- Aug. 4, 2018

Recommended Posts

Our guitarist just got a sparkly red jacket. He's dancing on the field surrounded by the rifle line.

Tenors featured on a stage on side two, 35 yard line. Great job!

Quick turn back by the horns and then turn front again to bring the volume.

A Mis Abuelos. Horns and drums introduce the piece, but our guitarist is now on that stage I mentioned earlier strutting his stuff.

Low brass now laying down a riff. Mellos take it over, followed by trumpets.

This is right up there with Madison's shows in the 90s.

Drum feature on side 1. Guitarist is now playing on the field, interacting with some of the horn members.

This really is the year of the flugelhorn soloist, isn't it? We've got one now on the stage. Lovely solo.

Nice laid back park and blow moment by the horns.

Trombone soloist down in the cafe area on the front of side one. Lush sound and full of emotion. When finished, the horns come in full out with the flugel soloist back on stage.

It looks like our guitarist has returned to his roots. He's back on his old guitar, no flashy jacket, back with his girl, and back at the cafe where he was discovered.

His guitar case is open. I want to toss some coin in there. He's earned it.

Cymbals now showing some flash on the stage! Guitar strings appear from the cafe and from the stage, connecting our guitarist to both of his lives.
