Ok - so they get to new location 2&1/2 hrs earlier, floor time until 0600, breakfast complete 0655, hit field at 0700 Scouts have 24 hours in the day, just like Corps with 'Blue' in their name

BITD the small corps I marched in was always one of the first few to perform (I.e. sun glaring on our eyes many times) and we weren't saying to ourselves what an unfair advantage all the corps that went on later had.

Ya know, noise ordinances and such

Ya know, noise ordinances and such The point is you can use the time to your benefit - heck stretching exercises typically take an hour. So now we are at 8am. Basics block? BITD we didn't need a Dr Beat - 2 snare drumsticks banged together was enough - & we are at 9am. I once had a boss that told us we were never allowed to use the term "No, because..." It was to be "Yes, if..."

Drill while singing your parts until 12:30(?) and church services are done. 🤐 For everyone else we practiced on an island in the middle of the Susquehanna River. We could upset people on both sides of the river if we got too loud. Edited July 25, 2019 by JimF-LowBari

Things are rough for Madison; but I don't think they're Pioneer bad, yet.
