Just pointing out a fact. I still prefer Michael Townsend guards.

I get it....

I just wish certain folks would stop trying to nitpick at their win

Let BAC's guard have a little time to relish in their GUARD VICTORY

It was a very special WIN for them.

3 encore runs on Periscope.  2 Downstairs, 1 upstairs. Excellent audio and video quality on the upstairs and 1 of the downstairs.  haven't watched the 3rd one yet

...just hope it rubs off on guard. And soon.

Crowns guard was much improved! They nailed it tonight. They just happen to have a few almost perfect groups with incredibly hard books ahead of them.  That difference starts with tryouts and who shows up.

So who does this panel favour/not favor?  I know last time MTurner judged guard he placed Cadets over Boston!!!!!

Boston did it the hard way. They won over a Guard judge tonite on Finals Night in Turner. He did not have them 1st in Guard tonite ( 2nd ). But he saw their improvement, their physicality, the overall demand required in their show, their overall performance, and gave them improved marks from earlier this season when he assessed them in performance back then. This is the 2nd season in a row now that Boston has medaled in Guard. Silver last season. Gold, and the Zingali winner at the 2018 Championships this season. Thats a pretty amazing accomplishment as there are several Corps with outstanding Guards.

I would have thought Olivia would accompany the DM and Captains at awards. Sans her, not sure they would have medaled.

I never thought a vocalist would be my favorite drum corps soloist, especially in a year with so many truly great ones.

Reading comprehension, use more of it.

No one is arguing whether BD lost or not. BAC won. That is a fact.

What is being argued is whether semis was an outlier. Which it was.

But please, go on and pretend like people can't understand who won tonight

They LOST...

I do NOT care to have ANY reading comprehension tonight..so whine all you want...

CHUMLEY was NEVER a BAC fan...you can take that to the bank...

But different shows, different stages of development within the guards, different progressions. Too many variables to be considered an outlier.

Exactly...that other poster is trying to treat drumcorps like a statistics project....haha
