OK, probably...LOL... but if a member went down that summer, why couldn't they just plug a new one into the same drill spot with the same uniform, whether it was maroon or white? It was a snare and to maintain the every other maroon cream pattern in the uniforms they had to rest the line throughout the show vs just moving an end (one) snare into the hole. This caused the entire snare line to learn new sets in certain spots, other sets and sections of the show it was easy. Seeing that show for the first time (Fan Network?) my initial thought was about the work done by the drill writers to put it all together and what happens with an injury where a blank might not look good.
