Absolutely agree. Saw them in A-Town last night and they were lights out (except for a little pit blip in the ballad). It is all coming together. And yes... there are a core of true believers and then we get some who just come to rain on our parade. Well... the sun is out and the GE gods have answered our prayers to give credit where credit is do. I hope the rest of the GE judging community can go beneath the surface of the Beast and reward the relentless execution of the performers and staff. I know someone did this a few posts up, but I could not help but join in the fun. I said at ST that this is just a great drumcorps show where you really don't care if the concept is abstract. It's wonderful to see that being rewarded. Maybe they've derailed the "I must now spend megabucks on props I really don't want to buy and can't resell" train. March well, play well, spin well still generates wonderful drumcorps effect! ps.
