They don't stop the growls, though. Growling in drum corps should be banned.

Yeah. very much, not to mention the height it gives the members. i just hope this year they will stay on for most corps, or all. i prefer BD with it on.

it cuts the glaring reflection from those bald-spots from the overagers and age-outs and high foreheads of the know-it-alls.

Count me among those that prefer headgear, although why (at least in this case with BD, and prolly others) does the headgear look SO big around their head? It truly looks like it would drop straight down over their face vs. being more snug/less likely to wobble or fall off...
