ThirdValvesAreForWimps
Clip mics allowed on the bells of soloists’ horns if necessary. Max of two speakers allowed for soloist amplification. No mass amplification of brass permitted. No live vocals permitted. Time limit on recorded vocals/narration/other artificial sounds. No synthesizers.

TRacer
I think wireless mics do a truly fine job of amplifying fracks and spleeyahs by soloists.

barigirl78
All regionals held outdoors should have a "rain date" wherein the corps that were rained out have to compete at a later time when it has stopped raining.

All corps are allowed to use synthesizers and pre-recorded samples which can (And has) produced all kinds of instruments including strings, woodwind.... If singing is key to an arrangement, it should be done live, just like any other soloist. I agree. :) 1
