Well, I actually agree with oldbandguy.  I think one can project about scores, but until they are head to head, you dont really know where everyone will stack up.  Oldbandguy, in his time, was very successful band director in Newark, Ohio.  I am not sure that scores are all that drive perforners.  I was in a fast food restaurant after the Hamilton show-filled with kids from a variety of corps-never heard convo about scores, but I did hear a lot of members ask each other if they had a good show.

Now I know who oldbandguy is... Nice percussion section!

He's not a bad drummer himself! 🥁

The trumpet feature in "Eleanor Rigby" sounds a lot like their 2013 show to me. And that's not a criticism.

For me, it's like the "looping" feature from 2015 without the electronics.

That was the intent.

Busy day today, and for reasons that have nothing to do with drum corps, a bit hectic, but I live in Beverly, MA, about a half a mile south of Beverly High School, and my office is about half a mile north. The windows were open all day. I heard percussion all morning, some crisp brass this afternoon, and knew I was in for a great show tonight. You used your time well, tonight was amazing. Sorry there is not a third New England show this year to see you again. I just have to wait for Allentown.
