So did you speak up back then? If not, what you’re doing right now is what Hockeydad calls virtue signaling.

I didn't speak up because I was a member. It's called knowing your place.

Our junior high band practiced practically right up to the front yards of homes.

People were more tolerant and less miserable then.

We had a some tolerance- if a kid from marching band did not live on the street, there was always a house or 4 that were parents of those who were and had graduated.

Really? Saying something like “I think we’re on private property” was beyond you?

Also, “knowing your place” is such a cringeworthy phrase.

We should just move on.  It’s becoming laughable and I’m not a fan of baloney.

How about those Bluecoats?

I just noticed the props are painted different colors on the back. The palette in this shown is beautiful.

Killing it with a 77.2! Wooo! And despite the seemingly simple source music, the content is through the roof!

I get to see them in person next Friday and Saturday.  I’m pretty anxious.

Venues that cannot provide appropriate warm up areas should not be hosting shows. Simple as that. I remember warming up in places like this and I didnt think it was appropriate back then.

There are ways to do this on private property.  As many on here have pointed out, plenty of people love this stuff and are wonderful impromptu 'hosts'.  Venues with limited space can solicit and designate sponsored areas in private lots and businesses.  This can work best in those long standing venues that host shows every year... where people expect it and look forward to it.

As usual I'll have to wait until San Antonio. I love the event withstanding the acoustics of the place.

I’m going to Atlanta next month.  I’ve been told it’s boomy but I’m sitting low so maybe not as bad.
