Pioneer could find a similar (although less high profile) position as Cadets - get rid of the Blenski klan and you open up a world of alumni and ex volunteers that flow back to support the corps

You have an advantage in that they don't have the high expectations of a Cadets type drum corps - Pioneer could drop to Open Class - local rehearsals and limited tour and as long as the members report a good experience and show growth it's a success

If he's on land under Giants Stadium...does he go against the salary cap of the Giants...or the Jets?

I agree with most of what you say here. Im not so sure though about alumni stepping up. I could see the rest

hopefully some would - obviously not the # or level of alumni Cadets are blessed with - so many successful ex Cadets as well...

and although there were many who had a good experience over the years at PIO MANY, staff, MMs, techs, etc. did not for many reasons. Some just on Philosophy.
