From what I was told, the drum line basically left in June. Staff member brought in a bunch of his kids to fill the line, so they basically were members of the corps from June on.

And Sky business manager(?) was interviewed he said this was his most trying season ever. Rough years but surviving

Mellos and tenors accompanied by guard on blue flags, then baris and basses accompanied by guard on green flags, and then trumpets and snares accompanied by guard on purple flags. The three colors represent Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades, the three gods who unite to overthrow Kronos.

Now each god gets their featured section of the show. Poseidon is up first.

Nice job by the horn line, performing chords that rose and fell in volume like Poseidon's waves.

Flags have a trident on them, superimposed over a crashing wave.

Great unison toss/catch, sabers, right in front!

Big sound from the horns on a huge chord before finishing this movement!

Solo dancer near the 50 as the horns play backfield. Large green fabric comes out as smoke emits from the pit. The pit is Hell? News to me.

How's the crowd?

Mello soloist perched atop one of the pedestal props on the field. For the second time tonight, a horn line is covered with a sheer colored fabric, this time green, and this time actually Hell. So, Connecticut Crown?

Great, but not a sellout. Empty seats in the new sections added to the outside of the stands.
