kevingamin
Next on the field is Cincinnati Tradition from Cincinnati, Ohio. Their 2018 program is entitled "Event Horizon".
kevingamin
Pit opening to the show. Guard starts on a platform on the center of the field. The horns start in a company front on either side of the platform, then swirl around it as if it was a black hole trying to pull them in. Opening statement is very grand, indeed! kevingamin
The platform is ringed by blue lights that turn on and off throughout the show for effect.
kevingamin
Next movement. Horn line has a huge sound! Snares are on the platform, which is now lit and is also rotating.
kevingamin
Ohh, very evil low brass chord to end the second movement. I like. Third movement opens with a micced concert French horn, front and near center. Great tone, with the mellos playing underneath.
kevingamin
Very majestic yet understated ballad to the show. Horns in front of the platform, moving as if floating in space, then expanding out into formation.
kevingamin
Also nice to have a ballad with the drum line playing during it.
kevingamin
Basses playing on the lighted and rotating platform while a solo micced tuba plays in front of them. Next movement brings up the tempo and is more ominous. Drum break before the horns come in full stop with two trumpet soloists screaming up front.
