KeithHall
What a line-up of future good corps.... Squires, Etobicoke Crusaders (DeLasalle took 5th in Open class), Charioteers, Southern Tier Grenadiers and Marquis.

The U.S. Open in 1973... first time I ever saw the Blue Devils (at the U.S. Open parade that year) and the Charioteers ( at the Class A finals). It's too bad the Charioteers weren't around longer than they were. Great small corps. Edited January 26, 2019 by Fran Haring
KeithHall
Been a fan of Charioteers and Osage Precisionaires back then as they were both so talented and exciting to watch.
OldSnareDrummer
The Precisionaires' Evil Ways in I think '76 or '77 had a baritone soloist who was fabulous. I remember a show we were competing against them and at the Judge's critique, the drum judge was remarking that he had to stop what he was judging, just stand there and listen. The Precisionaires were a fun corps to watch.
