You guys are kidding, right?

People have been dancing in Drum Corps shows for over 50 years.

Some iconic dance moments from the 1960"s:

1. Nick Rizzi's bump and grind feature in the Yankee Rebels' "Stripper" ('62-'64)

2. The Skyliners doing a Chubby Checker "Twist" at the '62 Dream

3. The Bridgeport Troopers with their signature "Bunny Hop"

I think our version of dancing was probably back 8, slide/crab left 4, forward 8 annnnnnddddd hit my dot! BOOM

Sounds more like a PA coal cracker (aka hard coal miner) drink to me lol. But my heritage is south PA with the Dutchified peoples.... lol

One thing for sure... the PA Dutch... Amish, Mennonites, and the rest... certainly do eat well!!! LOL

Nick's still going strong!!! 

I see him at some Maryland drum corps alumni events. Great guy.

Bit before my time as my first year Yankee Rebel’s did a minstrel show for concert. Two members did a soft shoe number.

My HS band director did copy The Stripper for our use. He knew better than to have anyone strip though lol
