And finding out the gut busting contra part in mid 70s “Channel One Suite” is done by SIX contras.

lol reminded me of one of our contras going ape stuff picking out the notes and then trying to play it that fast. Edit: piston/rotor work ouch

That’s all I played in junior corps. Middle voices 2-v weren’t legal until 1979.

Lol my first corps had 2 horizontal valves which were illegal for AL. Went to Westshore and piston/slide for few months until piston/rotors came in. Decades later 2v and then 3v at Hanover.

and own some 1v to about complete the set lol

This is clear evidence of the benefit of brilliantly running an org for decades and realizing the benefits of shrewd and prudent protection of a brand and a business focus.  "Don't screw it up", Jerry said.  Wow, is he smiling!

BD has been THE business org to follow for decades and now, besides rings on kids' fingers, we see the payoff for years of making nickels scream bloody murder.  And forging long-term relationships.

Dang BD, F-ing stunning, this thing you did for us, for BD, for drum corps.

Simply, thank you.

Wish we could sort them by length of video's so the full shows would be easier to find.

On further review, the longer video's are at the beginning.  Still haven't found the 74 year that DFA1970 mentioned.

Bayonne also pioneered drum line body movement about the same time.

Yeah... but the difference was the Bridgemen were ruining drum corps then, and the Blue Devils were not.
