Lancer79
Yea you say that now... since 2011 the heat from the small group of Alumni just got hotter and hotter... They were excluded from the day to day and month to month operations... they felt like they had insight and input. They had no voice. Anger led to Rage... Anger led to Rage... yeah not the fact they moved to PA because of financial issues, or the band circuit changed names twice because of financial issues...none of that mattered right? Just losing and a few ticked off alumni. I mean didn't they win that Chase giving thing a few years ago? Decent sized check right? Was it put aside to plan for the future or just to pay off some bills that had been mounting? Never head a peep about it after they won it. But please, keep going on your current trend of doing more harm than good Edited February 1, 2019 by Jeff Ream

Just like in the old days when directors would take a second mortgage on their homes... ie. Bonfiglio and Robinson... to keep the corps going, Hopkins was no different. He poured his life and funds into the corps and organization he loved. Sorry to rain on your parade of bias, hatred and judgment. Your white knighting of GH is quite transparent. He sure was an awesome guy.

That’s a hoot.
HockeyDad
By the way who is this “small group of alumni”? Who are these brilliant people who hatched this elaborate scheme to bring down the misunderstood GH, who was only trying to better the Cadets while mowing down alumni like a bull in a china shop (but now has had a epiphany and is the first to admit his regret)? In the spirit of transparency who were these people pulling the levers behind the curtain?

They got women to set themselves up for perjury charges to be leveled against them! Genius!

Even in successful years, it was well known Cadets had trouble making ends meet. The move to Bergen County, then to Allentown were signs of that issue. Constant asking for finds... I can go on.
