desertrat68
Yay! The Academy finally released the music. I was at the Meet the Academy event where Lindsey Vento Spoke about the show (and saw the uniforms). The one take away I actually remember is that they didn't use the Simon and Garfunkel version of Bridge Over Troubled Waters as the inspiration for the arrangement of the ballad. I'll not say who they chose since Lindsey is supposed to have a podcast or something about the show. Anyway - mellophone lovers are gonna love the horn book for the show. No. Looking at past years, they typically announce in early to mid May. https://ascendperformingarts.org/blue-knights-2014-show-that-one-second/ https://ascendperformingarts.org/blue-knights-present-their-2015-production-because/ https://ascendperformingarts.org/blue-knights-announce-2016-show-the-great-event/ https://ascendperformingarts.org/blue-knights-announce-20i7-show/ https://ascendperformingarts.org/blue-knights-announce-2018-show-the-fall-and-rise/ At the Memorial Day pot luck, Mark Arnold ask people not to share videos online because of copyright issues, but he didn't ask people not to reveal the show information that he shared with us. I choose not to reveal the show info, though I may change my mind if BK doesn't say something in the next week or so. I don't think I'll have to, though. BK released this a couple of days ago. https://www.facebook.com/plugins/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FBlueKnightsDrumCorps%2Fposts%2F10156646621713026&width=500 Edited May 31, 2019 by Herk
