again, don't forget...having the Cadets at YEA shows here adds butts to the seats, and the ties the Cadets have in the region and along the east especially could have helped save them a lot of money in ways going out west would not have.

Keeping those ties.... or rebuilding from the damage to those ties????

Thinking local presence would be like showing that things have changed but same Cadets as in corps quality. IOW can have a quality corps without seeing or hearing you know who

despite the bad press, the removal of Hopkins opened more doors than had been previously opened.

I can dig that. And local face showing can keep them open. Good chance to show the “Not the old YEA/Cadets crew anymore”...

What I see as an extremely bad reflection of the participants in this board is the fact that there are three threads running right now about this and not one single person yet has said CONGRATULATIONS NATALIE STEELE!!!

Everyone seems to forget that while they are climbing all over one another trying to influence/impress with our opinions over DCI, Morrison, Cadets, red carpets, etc. that there's another human being to be considered.

I was going to start a new thread just to give Natalie somewhere to go and enjoy the accolades that should deservedly be coming her way.  But too many of you would have to ruin that too by putting the attention back on what you can all fight about.  So petty.

Congratulations and best wishes Natalie! !!

you do have a point and Congrats to Natalie!

One of the most candid and valid posts in 3 months at least and a point well taken.

Congratulations Ms. Steele and best of luck as you bring the corps forward.

As demonstrated by the Cadets performance in August at Allentown. Epic.
