Remember “associate members” for a few years?

They're still doing that. I've posted that release as well in the past week.

I saw. Seems to be a bit more choosy than the earlier years

It definitely does.

Remembering the first year or two of the associate inductions... it seemed there were more people going into the Hall than there were people not in it. All skate.

Is George Hopkins still a member of the World Drum Corps Hall Of Fame?  If he is, that tells me all I need to know.

He is.   Roman Blenski is the merchandise manager.

I didn’t say anything about Roman getting the boot.  I just saw him selling t-shirts in the Genetti hotel lobby before the banquet.

I think it is safe to assume that if either is convicted regarding the serious allegations against them they will lose membership.

You seem like a super nice guy and I don’t want to start something but, applying that same criterion he would still be director of the Cadets.  IMO this is very disappointing.

I am a nice guy, and not one to defend the individuals in question. I do stand for due process, however.

That said, the argument for "the appearance of impropriety" is a persuasive one and can be effectively applied in this instance.

I think this will all play itself out in time while the rest of us get on with our lives.
