Lots of great #7 shows from the oldies. 1972 - Des Plaines Vanguard - They just looked mean as hell. Mars showed it. 1979 - Guardsmen - Great sound, memorable and enjoyable music. 1980 - SCV - Everyone bagged on Evita. I liked it. You beat me to it! 1979 Guardsmen

Tons of emotion in that performance, and awesome because of what it meant to the corps, fans, and alumni. I will never forget seeing it in Allentown!! I have to also go with the 2018 Cadets. A model of perseverance.

Every time I watch that, it's OMG you're doing this at Finals in front of the whole drum corps world. You poor soul. 😄

I ended up saying Cadets 2018 because of what that whole year meant to the organization. But yeah, Crossmen 1990 is one of my favorites, too. That drumline in 90, 91, 92!!! kkrepps
Cadets 2018 In the Open class though, 7th Regiment 2016. Of course, when they made 7th place I had to hear the same joke over and over from tons of people in the stands, and then afterwards: "Hey, maybe they should change their name to 1st Regiment!" Nyuck, nyuck, nyuck!! *snorts

Out of these ten shows you listed which is your favorite? That’s the fun of this game. You have to pick just one. Mine: 27th Lancers. 1978

Tim K
Seventh place used to be the cursed placement. My sentimental favorite: Cadets 2018. Very emotional performances, especially at Allentown and Indy. Other favorites: 2012 Boston Crusaders 1987 Star of Indiana (circus show)
