I’ve already got my choices slotted for 5th, 4th, 3rd, and 2nd! 🙂 1

oldsoprano
1978 - Spirit of Atlanta. Just a year earlier, hardly anyone had even heard of Spirit of Atlanta, and two years earlier, there was no such thing as Spirit of Atlanta. Jumped from 23rd in 1977 to 6th in 1978. Missed winning high horns by .05. (Of course, it wasn't called the Jim Ott trophy yet; Jim was the one standing in front of Spirit's horn line every day.)
