On the Move

Recommended Posts

In World Class, I think Music City will leap over Pacific Crest, and the next two corps above them aren't attending Indy this year.  There's a lot of talent in that Tennessee corps, I suspect, and I definitely see them making a move.  I think Troopers have the next-best shot of a jump, having finished at the bottom of the 11-17 heap last year.  I would love to see Madison make a move, too, but color me somewhat skeptical of their show.  I suspect I'll love it, but I'm not sure the judges will agree.

In Open Class, it was Gold and Guardians climbing the ladder last year.  Much more movement in Open from season to season and even from night to night.  I could see Legends moving up 3-4 spots easily, and I have a hunch that Southwind will make a move this year. They were towards the bottom last year with a large corps and a show that maybe didn't come together the way they'd hoped.  Louisiana Stars could be another one, and Guardians may continue their ascent, too.  I think this will be a strong year for Open despite the absence of the two B corps.  The corps towards the bottom of World had better bring their "A" game this year or they will be passed up again.

Cavies moving up! I believe in this corps!

It’s a good corps with a good show.
