DFA1970
First show complete, No real surprises. Coats and Crown are close and BAC is not far back. I don’t put much stock in early scores because it’s all new and the season is just starting. So the Bluecoats have a Beatles show? Didn’t the Cadets have a sorta Beatles show in 2004?

It probably doesn't really mean anything UNLESS their design is a set up from previous years. Haven't seen them yet, but if they are working with more demand/content and a better design than they have in the past, then their starting score is a good thing. They passed up Regiment, Crossmen, and Blue Knights last year. I think Mandarins beat them once (not sure here). They literally were the corps that moved up the most during the season last year. Conceivably 12th/13th opening weekend and 8th at finals. So...make out of that what you will. Edited June 21, 2019 by queenanne_1536

Cadets did a Jethro Tull show in ‘04. It was weird.

corps8294
I'm vibing on the Blue Stars, this year, like I did the 2014 Bluecoats! Everything about the Blue Stars show is awesome. The music, the props, the drill, all sections of the corps, the uniforms. There is so much to like about the Blue Stars this year.
Terri Schehr
I have that same spidey sense about Bluecoats that I did in 2016.

Kids were very talented but that book just didn’t give them a chance to show what they could do. First miss in quite a few years for that Bluecoats percussion staff. Um...the entire Cadets 2004 show was Jethro Tull, so not Beatles, not even sorta.
