Cincinnati Summer Music Games 6/25

That was a terrific show!  The weather was perfect, too, but Ohio has about 16 hours of daylight at this time of the year so no one truly played “under the lights.”  Also, this part of Ohio is on the western edge of the eastern time zone which extends the daylight as well.

Well done.

I was thinking coffee but it was that time of the day for me 🙂

Beiges are tough.

A beige shoe would really just clean and modernize them as a juxtaposition to their repertoire. Also it cleans the leg in marching and movement more than the harshness of just black at the bottom. I personally like the get up with out the safari jacket. Looks more “cool”.

Still can’t get over how in the US they cut time zones in the middle of states. Must be so hectic if you happen to travel between those geographical areas for work or family.

I hope none of the shows break your heart --

...and none did.  Everyone is performing well for so early in the season.

Other countries have their own quirks. One province in Canada is a half-hour different than the next one over. That province was the subject of recent Broadway musical. I haven't seen it; I wonder if any of the songs would translate to drum corps.

Rest and recovery??? From what??? The darn season just started a few days ago! Scouts are getting their butts kicked and getting beat by everyone, and they practice for only 3 hrs 15 min??? Good lord...I realize that this generation is full of soft insecure safe spacers, but for the love of God, I never would have thought that the Madison freaking Scouts would take this route. There is a right answer and its PRACTICE. Fire this regime.

sometimes the body needs a little time, especially when you factor in long drives plus spring training. Sometimes a little down time pays off later

After now having seen videos of Spirit I am really on that midnight train guys.

Show is aggressive to the point of saying don’t forget about us this year. Lots of more beefy exposed content and that’s what they need to stay with the pack, achievement and execution isn’t the worst either. (This will obviously mature over repetition as it does with everybody who has a great team in place).

I think we have a return finalist on our hands but I’m still in the air about at what cost?

should have been in last year

Nothing says "I am a tough secure adult" like whining anonymously on the internet.

Please go away from the activity. You don't deserve it.

Come on Jeff, these are 16-22 year olds. The season just started and after the start that Madison has had, every day should be full practice.

I have a quiet room with a puppy and a balloon waiting for you.
