Crazy thunderstorms from 6-8am just occurred.  Should clear up for most of the day and then more showers and storms later.  Fingers crossed  we don’t have another stand still in Lawrence  😢

I  haven't seen Jersey Surf listed at any show, yet. I know they get a late start during the summer; but nothing has been mentioned about them. The last I read from them was way back in late May when they stated they had a lot of spots open up.

They have their preview show tonight. A thread exists about this.

Weather Underground has chance of storms until 7PM. WBZ radio strong chance of afternoon storms, ending in the early evening. Channel 5 has a 40% chance of scattered storms at showtime. Unless the field gets flooded like last year, a later start is a possibility. Of course rain can enhance a show too. It began to rain in 2013 in Lawrence as Madison finished their tear jerker show and it rained as BAC yelled “I Will Rise.” Gave both a different impact!

Actually I now judge rainstorms by Allentown Friday night 2018 standards. Compared to that night, every rainstorm since is a sprinkle.

I’m hearing thunder and it’s beginning to look threatening where I live (about 40 minutes from Lawrence). Threat should be over by 8 PM.

Don’t worry. For some it’s never too early and it doesn’t get old.
