Hey Bloo, don't make it bad

Take a sad song and make it better

Remember to let her into your heart

Then you can start to make it better

I don’t mean that as an insult at all. My brother just wound up a 34 year career as a high school band director and my son is finishing a degree to start one.

My comment was more geared to the musical content. All Beatles? Not what I expected out of the Bluecoats. Seems very much like a Tarpon Springs High School Show. They are consistently one of the best in the country... quite excellent... and the Bluecoats remind me of them this year.

Well, technically, Within You / Without You is a George Harrison song.

The Bluecoats performance and some of SCV’s percussion warmups are available on the periscope app. under a Lisle, IL search.

You marched '78 Vanguard? What a year. I remember having the DCI Yearbook for '78 in '84 (my first year in drum corps) and seeing written under DCI West that BD beating Vanguard by 2.5 was the kiss of death. That must have been a fun and wild ride to finals. Congratulations!
