I guess the Blue Stars are the corps that has actual costumes for their themes, like carpenters and woodsmen. Blue Knights are the corps with circles. Now that I finally understand the Blue Stars approach I think I like them. They've sounded great and marched well as I have watched, but I never really understood who they were. Blue Stars = pretty literal visual interpretation of their theme. I.e. We're actually building a house on the field! Blue Knights = pretty abstract interpretation of their theme. i.e. I don't know what I just watched but it was kinda neat! 1

This I my problem with it too. it's so far over there on the side of the field, and sort of infrequently used as far as I can tell, as the camera never seems to go there. I guess it's the mountains in the distance, but ...yeah as a design point, it seems underused and out of sight for all that they've put into building it. Couldn’t be much clearer. Lol. Yeah for like 15 seconds 🤣 because the Vikings were so jazzy
g00fyg00ber
I think it's because I'm so distracted by the amount of awesome drill in this show, but I'm not quite grabbing on to how they're interpreting the theme. Probably need a few more viewings. Still love what I'm seeing!
Poppycock
It's past April Fools day but Lucas being the fashion critic is here to judge the worst fashion trends of 2019 and has put Blue Stars at the top of his list. The consensus is we like the show but the jungle Jim and costumes need to be better thought out.

Trent Renzor wrote it, but it's totally Johnny Cash's song after that cover. Trent even basically admitted it.
