I do have to say I'm partial to SCV's designs from 2013-2016 as compared to their designs from 2017-2019 despite the lower placements

They had a certain elegance in those years that I think they've shed away for more of an edge. Force of Nature is one of my favorites as well, the arrangements were gorgeous

They didn’t just shy away, they unceremoniously threw their much-loved image over the Cliff of Doom to secure the infinity Soul Stone, did “The Snap”, and won.

Ghost of GR: “...and how much did it cost?”

Everything...

And they completely changed the way they did visual to actually win.

This mello literally marches and plays at the same time less the 20 physical yards in the entire show and not much more than that while just marching.

It's like a video of a standstill with some hand waving and prop moving interspersed. There is one technical passage on the move and that's at 10:30 in the video.

You have to realize what an incorrect statement that is. It's like a video of a standstill? This guy rarely stopped moving the entire show. Yes, I too wish more of that movement was dot-to-dot marching, but to deny that there's demanding movement meant to be in time perfectly with the members around him is just plain ridiculous. That's all it is, the whole show. Jumping, running, choreography, marching...all of it is in time with his neighbors. To deny the difficulty of that because it's not all dot-to-dot marching is to bury one's head in the sand.

You ever heard of simultaneous responsibility?

I don’t care if you can hold a loud note for a long time during a show if you’ve had a break behind the props to gas up the tank and then just stand still doing nothing.

Yea, you're clearly just not watching the video with an eye for any movement other than marching. There's a ton of simultaneous responsibility in that show. The kid with the GoPro cam never stops moving.

I mean in the last 6 minutes of the show he doesn't play for over 3 minutes of it including a full two minute chunk.. What simultaneous responsibility that is there is in small chunks. It's Smoke and Mirrors the Show.
