Eh, when I look/listen back at 13th-15th place shows from the last 1980s, for example, I often find them on average to be every bit as enjoyable as shows in that rank today. I thought they sort of 'hid' them behind the door quite a bit last year and did not do a lot of ensemble with difficulty if I remember correctly. I am liking them more this year brass wise.
