The corps was truly given an awful design this year, and I don’t believe any amount of mid-season changes will be able to save it. What’s worse, they’ve got such a monstrously talented corps in all sections this season —- but in a year where every corps around them knocked it out of the park in the design department, there’s only so far their performance abilities will be able to take them. Most other seasons, I find there’s a fair amount of “meh” shows in the 6-12 range; not so this summer.
