I hadn't realized how much I was spending until I started listing and adding. Yeah, it's a pretty fair amount (in the thousands), but even with changes in the direction of the activity, not all of which I agree with, this strange drum corps animal still sparks joy in me.

You start doing the math.....

I’m good with it, though.

I'm always fascinated by this sentiment when coming from people who post SO MUCH on here about current topics and the current year's shows.

So go away?  X is a long time contributed and lover of the activity. It’s sad to see things have changed to the point that the passion isn’t there for him anymore. However that’s no reason to kick him to the curb. I value his thoughts. Sometimes the Emperor needs to be told he has no clothes. If this site was all fuzzy bunny happy group think, it would quickly die of boredom.

Haven’t been able to travel to shows or do the alumni type thing for a few years and swamped with other “life hits” things so money almost all in web broadcasts (Flo and DCA) this year. Have been springing for a former competitors lunch but they are not competing this year.😫

Speaking of spending, I thought I'd share a little more love, so I just sponsored a snack for Bluecoats. #feedbloo

Cool story, bro.

I said I was fascinated by it.

Playing dumb. Ok. Thanks. Your implication was clear.

Some (presumably drunk) person trusted me with a staff pass. I'll go to the usual 2-3 shows this year, but will spend far less than I did in 2017 and last year. I have no desire to shell out more money for the Indy experience, and I'm only supporting my former corps financially.

I still love the overall progression of the activity, etc. But a full summer away from travelling bando tour is long overdue for me.

Anybody want to buy some plasma? A kidney, perhaps?

Perhaps Jeff Ream will give you a mortgage or George Dixon will make you a franchisee.  I didn't qualify at either audition.
