Cadevilina Crown
Just a tidbit of info that may serve as a benchmark as we approach that fateful day... BD's spread over SCV tonight in El Dorado = 0.05 Bloo's spread over SCV on July 10 in Ankeny = 0.7

They have an unmatched ability to turn it on when it counts the most, and have probably their best complete package of a show since 2014 this year. Bloo MIGHT do it, but they also had a wonderfully immersive theme show last year and couldn't quite seal the deal. Perhaps they have learned from that? jeffmolnar
In a just world, Bluecoats. So probably BD. 2 4
N.E. Brigand
Who's winning or who will win? Right now it's a complete toss up. In the end, I think Blue Devils take it. But I'm entirely willing to let the other corps change my mind. I enjoyed video of SCV's performance in Memphis much more than I had enjoyed them earlier this year. And I can see how they can grow. Bluecoats in recent years (in my opinion) haven't done enough to enlarge their shows over the course of each season. I fear they'll do that again and be overtaken.
brassboy
I feel like I've seen this once before. There was another season where I remember Bloo coming out on FIRE early season, but they ultimately plateaued a little too soon. I think it's possible this could happen again and BD clinches it. I voted for BD.
Ediker
It’s going to be someone Blue.
jsd
Bloo has a ceiling to this year's show. I don't see where else it can grow/expand/evolve in the next month. SCV has too many obstacles to overcome. BD wins again.

I would have thought otherwise. It’s a GE game and everything else is just table dressing. Nope, Bluecoats have figured out the judging sheets better than most. BD’s going to start to have to “compete” against others - not just against themselves. The tide has turned. I just find it funny cause i remember a few short years ago, BD and any Devils supporter used to get burned at the stake on DCP for playing to the sheets. 6

Still do, but they've given the other designers a blueprint for success

I remember a good many posters said this in 2016. How did that turn out?
