Augusta, NJ - Wednesday, July 17, 2019

Heard this was a baseball field and there was no way to line the field... can anyone confirm?

Maybe this field was a backup plan, I'm hoping the original field fell through? Otherwise how did this happen. ....

So disappointing to the fans and the corps members 😟

Not surprised about the rain. The remnants of Hurricane/Tropical Storm Barry are headed towards the Boston area, moving from west to east, beginning about midnight, so they would be in the New Jersey area now. They will be heading east too, the next show will be on Saturday in Manchester, NH. The predicted temperature that day 100 degrees. San Antonio is indoors, but it will be a cool 98 degrees. It will be warmer in New Hampshire than it is in Texas!

Completely off-topic - but isn't it amazing how much moisture & energy these storms have?  Its been like 5 days since it was over the gulf drawing moisture, but here it is still windy & dumping rain.  And this was a small storm as these things go.

To drag this closer to on-topic - maybe a Corps could do a weather themed show.  Wind, rain, tornado drill that spirals.  Weather Report could provide the music.  All kinds of potential.

Might as well have been a rainout. By all indications this was going to be a disaster of a show with terrible housing, a terrible field, and some other mismanagement.
