Year after year, the Cadets drum line plays the most difficult book cleanly. My favorite snare line almost every year. They seriously are so bad ###.
jeffmolnar
Well I certainly liked SCV’s show more in person. I think mainly just because of the difference in power and volume compared to the other corps (even Crown). It really is a huge difference. Still, I think the design is messy. I thought it was messy before, but now it’s even messier with the giant crumbled tarps taking up half the field. They really just make the everything look less “precise,” if that makes sense. Wrinkles everywhere and they’re highly reflective. Thats a design swing and a miss, imo. Lesson learned. 6

Terri Schehr
Those scores seem a little strange to me.

I have a feeling the high winds may have played a part in some of these wonky scores. Fortunately, there is no wind in the Alamodome.

With the early videos having older and younger drummers going “wow”, a great book, etc. to getting stagnant scores currently has me scratching my knee. Hope there’s no drum judges thinking “well, if Jeff has them here, maybe I..............”. Maybe the new quad is ready and the changes are in place.
