Interesting picture here of a headline from a July 21, 1969 newspaper that someone saved because its top story was about the moon landing: "The 'love it or leave it' nonsense".

I was 11 years old, watching the whole thing on TV at home with my parents.

One of my older brothers was in a local junior corps... I wonder if his corps was at a show not listed on DCX.  That corps, and the circuit it was in, rarely took a weekend off.
