Both corps early this year and possibly after last year's end of season awards dinners made the joint decision not to tour their "B" corps. Hope this is not permanent. The rising costs to tour is affecting all corps. Just as an added point of info. Despite the fact that BD and SCV are fierce rivals on the field, they share times together. Each has their own Family Day of performances but come DCI West which they both help co-sponsor, they BBQ together and play their show for each other. They also attend other's special events

Although no reason was given officially, I am led to believe that BDB did not go to Indy this season for financial reasons, specifically because there were a lot of shenanigans behind the scenes with our now ex-director. As for why SCVC didn't go, once again there was no reason given but I think it was a sort of "if they're not going, we're not going" gesture.
