It was a blast!  He still has two more years of indoor (ages out of BAC this year), but he said that if his indoor career had to end now, he was satisfied.  The show was the most fun he has ever performed.  He sobbed walking off the floor at finals.

Aw, that’s great. 💕

Me, too. Row 15.

Also at the Omni -- valet parking, walk to the stadium, and a decent bar after the show. Also a nice Sunday buffet.

I’m unable to partake in the Sunday buffet.  Our flight leaves at dawn o’clock.

On a lighter note compared to my last post, who has the best souvies this year? It is a tradition that I buy a SOA and Bluecoats shirt but what else is out there that I should check out? Any cool shirts or souvies from everyone else?

Boston might have a head for sale.......

How? They're going between a corps that 2 pointed them, and the other 5 pointed them. Not exactly luck of the draw there.

I think he is commenting on the fact that mandarins go on before the intermission then there are 2 more corps before Cadets.  probably doesn't give Mandarins much of a shot of being compared fairly head to head against Cadets so Cadets will probably come out on top in that matchup regardless of whether or not they truly deserve to be.

the timing makes it hard on the judges to state confidently that mandarins are better or worse than Cadets

Doesn't seem like anyone's bothered to post this so I'll do it, the panel for Atlanta:

GE1: M. Anderson (visual)

GE1: T. Wemhoff (visual)

GE2: W. Dillon (music, brass)

GE2: J. Webb (music, percussion)

Visual Proficiency: C. Nelson

Visual Analysis: W. Chumley

Colorguard: H. Nguyen

Brass: M. Hoskins

Music Analysis 1: D.Aydelott (brass)

Music Analysis 2: C. Romanowski (percussion)

Percussion: J. Prosperie

I placed the background of certain judges in parentheses for some context. There's a few names I'm not used to seeing on a regional panel so it should be interesting.
