corps8294
For the love of Grisly Adams, Blue Stars, get those d**n tents figured out!

Plenty of reasons to have 7 or 9, including having an actual center, and also planning drill integration between the sections. In the end, it's 100% about balance, and the other items fall into place as they need to. I mentioned the 'center snare' concept for listening too. He's found 7 and 9 but not 8 so far. Makes sense, given the connection. I could do with some more Jackson beats in my life. What he brings to a drum corps show is more nuanced and tasteful than any other batterie arrangements I've heard.

Or the mountain... or the tents... or the dogs pulling sleighs... I think the arrangement of Dance Panels fits into the theme.

I would enjoy it just as much if they weren't in Timberland getups. It's good music and great marching, with a killer guard. If there's anything particularly outdoorsy about it other than the costumes, it's over my head. Great show! Over your head. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Call_of_the_Wild

It wasn't "super pumped" like we were seeing from the previous tier but they were hauling like no other corps so far. I'm not surprised if they 'end soft' if only cause they're sort of wiped out there.
soccerguy315
not sold on the ending to Blue Stars show, but it is very good and I think they will hold 7th. Very good corps this year.
