George Dixon
I personally agree with the placements without the benefit of seeing the corps tonight - Mandarins are very good however it is interesting how lemming like the judging community can be - a week ago Cadets were beating these corps and now suddenly the judges are having BS three point them - three points is a mile in DCI distance its a bit dramatic of a shift - volcanic explosions have been more subtle imo crossmen will be ahead of Cadets in ATL imo

EuphoniumDad
And look at Spirit closing in on PR! It's a battle for that 12th spot. Crossmen, PR and Spirit are all within a 3.0 point space.

There was so much promise this year because last year they seemed to be on the right track.
AlexL
A rough check of past scores (i may have missed one) it appears this may be the earliest Blue Stars have hit 87 since returning to D1\WC

Personally I think Phantom's show design is superior enough to Spirit's to keep Phantom safely in at least that 12th spot.

Will be very interesting to see where this ends up. And if the horn score tonight was where it should have been, (and has been) even a higher score for sure Edited July 25, 2019 by brians
